Hello, I have currently taken over as the web developer for a website which uses SiteGround to host. I was never given a repo or a zip file for the actual site. I found this “How To Create a New Git Repo of Your Site” https://www.siteground.com/tutorials/sg-git/create-new-repository/. When I click on the SG-Git tool I get the following prompt “Currently this feature is disabled for your account as per the account’s hosting plan features. In order to get advantage of the SG-Git feature you need to upgrade your account to Go Geek hosting plan. Please use the Upgrade button below in order to check our higher end hosting solutions.”
Has anyone ever had this type of experience? I want to be able to make edits to the site locally before being able to deploy it to SiteGround. I have had previous experience with hosting only on AWS where you take your build and upload it to AWS. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
