After completing a degree in Applied Linguistics at the University of Victoria in 2018, Delon decided to live in Japan to do some soul searching. While reflecting on his next course of action, he discovered a deep desire to engage in the synthesis of technology and humanity. Upon returning to Canada in 2020, he decided to use his ability to help others succeed in digital marketing; where he can assist businesses in reaching their goals.
Off the clock, Delon is all about getting outside and immersing himself in nature, enjoying a glass of wine, and/or getting lost in Spotify’s algorithm to find new music to listen to.

Halloween is fast becoming our favorite holiday, if only because of the huge number of in-game offers and events that take place at this time of year.
R2 Games is joining the fun bigtime, with several titles in its library embarking on a Halloween giveaway bonanza.
Without further ado, here are all the deets on the freebies on offer and where to find them.
Game of Thrones – Winter Is Coming
Game of Thrones is getting into the Halloween spirit too, with several gifts being handed out up to the 31st of October.
They’ll be posted randomly on the Facebook page, so make sure you check it often.
Omega Zodiac
Omega Zodiac, the classic fantasy MMORPG from developer Proficient City, is holding a couple of different events this Halloween. The first is a daily login event, letting you claim rewards every day just for playing the game.
The second is the Pumpkin Boss event. Every half an hour between 8am and 11pm throughout the event period you’ll be able to defeat the Pumpkin Boss in the Halloween map to claim special rewards. Here’s the game’s Facebook page too.
Dragon Awaken
Next up, Dragon Awaken, another fantasy RPG featuring everybody’s favorite imaginary fire-breathing dinosaurs, is holding three separate events.
The first is called Sweet Adventure, and it sees you hiring monsters for the first three days. These monsters then produce random candies every day at 10am and 10pm. The more advanced the monster, the better the candy, and you can sell the candies you obtain for diamonds.
After three days, your candy-spewing monsters disappear.
The second Dragon Awaken event is called Halloween Gift, and it simply sees you opening a free gift every day. You can recharge or spend Ambers to increase your opening chances.
And the third adds a new fashion, called Death Shadow, and a new mount called Specter Bat. The game’s official Facebook page is here.
Armor Valor
The next game on the list is Armor Valor, the popular fantasy MMORPG with real-time strategy elements, developed by F5 games.
This time there are four events on the go, and they’re absolutely massive. First up there are the Halloween login rewards, which last for 12 days and give you free stuff just for booting the game up.
Next, Armor Valor is getting four exclusive Halloween heroes, called UR Medusa, SSR Venus, SR Arakari, and R Cleopatra. For a limited time you’ll have an elevated chance of bagging these heroes, receiving an appointed hero badge for every ten summons.
Then there’s the Halloween World Boss Event, which starts on October the 30th and lasts for a full week.
You need to be a Lord with a castle above level 5 to participate in this event. If that’s you, you can attack bosses at various levels, with higher levels resulting in more points. You can then exchange these points for rewards.
Meanwhile, certain heroes get extra buffs upon receiving points.
Last up on the Armor Valor slate is a bumper crop of six new chapters in the Expedition Dungeon. You’ll need to think carefully about which hero you dispatch into this dungeon, as the victor comes out with a hero badge and hero weapon. You can find the game official Facebook page here.
Eternal Fury
Eternal Fury is the next game taking part in the seasonal festivities with a glorious Halloween Carnival. Taking place between October the 28th and November the 1st, this extravaganza consists of several events, including a Halloween Lucky Wheel, a Lucky Golden Egg, and a Fabled Shop.
Visit the Eternal Fury Facebook page to pick up codes and redeem your Halloween gifts. Holy Wings Feathers, Warsoul Stones, Diamonds, Level 5 Lucky Stones, and more are all up for grabs.
The Third Age
The Third Age, the strategy game set in Middle Earth, is celebrating Halloween too, in this case with a Halloween Collection Event and Halloween Pack. Both went live on October the 27th, and will stay up until the 29th.
Throughout the event period, you’ll have the chance to get Halloween Ghosts to play the slot machine for gifts and treats.
The official Halloween celebrations begin on October the 30th and last until November the 1st, throughout which period you’ll be able to claim special gifts. In addition, you can head to the official Third Age Facebook page to receive gift codes.
Vampire Empire
Finally, the perfectly Halloweeny Vampire Empire is doubling down on the horror with a special Travelling Merchant Halloween activity.
This roaming vendor will appear at random throughout the game map, letting you exchange fantastic loot when the Black Market is open for business. There are special items available too.
To obtain these Halloween items you need to attack monsters and barbarian camps, or participate in active events. Rewards include a Castle Skin, a City Teleport Card, various resource packs, speed-up items, and more. You can find the Vampire Empire Facebook page here.
So there you have it – there’s plenty to keep you busy over on F5 games this Halloween. Head to www.r2games.com to check it all out.

Amid an unusual seasonal hiring season, Best Buy is holding on-the-spot hiring events at its retail stores.
The consumer electronics retailer announced its plans to hire “thousands” of seasonal workers nationwide. To jump start recruitment efforts, the company is holding on-site job fairs at all retail locations Oct. 3-4.
“The job fairs may include same-day interviews and on-the-spot job offers,” the hiring announcement stated.
According to Best Buy’s store locator tool, it has more than 1,000 storefronts across 38 states and one in Washington, D.C.
Best Buy did not specify exactly how many seasonal workers it plans to hire, though its online job board currently lists more than 2,700 seasonal openings. According to a spokesperson, the company never commits to a specific number.
Seasonal Jobs at Best Buy
Best Buy is looking to hire sales and customer service agents, automobile installation technicians, distribution center workers and more.
All employees — including seasonal workers — are eligible for a 401(k) plan and employee discounts. Plus, this year, the company implemented a $15 minimum wage.
All seasonal positions are entry-level. Some customer service experience is preferred.
For the automobile installation technicians openings, a Mobile Electronics Certified Professional credential is needed, but the program can be completed after onboarding. A valid driver’s license is also required.
Pro Tip
To browse and apply for seasonal openings, use Best Buy’s online job board. Or apply via text by sending BBYJOBS to 97211.
Never Attended a Seasonal Hiring Event Before? Here’s How to Prepare
Walking into a store alongside dozens of other candidates may sound stressful. We’ve compiled tips from hiring event recruiters to help you feel confident.
Check if you need to apply online. You may be able to apply on-site at the hiring event, but try to fill out your application online before showing up. In some cases, it may be a requirement. And a spare resume couldn’t hurt.
Dress business casual — with a mask! Retail hiring managers say business casual is the way to go. If you’re still unsure, drop by the store before the day of the event and scout out what employees are wearing. Then match your outfit to the job you want.
Be ready to interview. It’s common to be interviewed on-the-spot at hiring events. Come prepared to answer behavior-based interview questions, which try to gauge how you react under certain circumstances. The best way to do that is by describing a challenging situation you’ve faced on the job, outlining the action(s) you took and explaining how your response led to a positive outcome.

Update 3 for F1® Mobile Racing dares you to Race To Perfection, as GP Events makes its eagerly anticipated arrival.
A brand new mode for all players, GP Events is a time-limited race series that offers big rewards to the fastest drivers. With multiple stages, tiers and loot systems, it’s something you can really dive into – but to give everyone a chance to test the water out first, here’s a clear breakdown of how GP Events will work in F1® Mobile Racing…
GP Events – How Does it Work?
GP Events is a two-stage mode. Stage one, called Qualifying, leads into stage two, called Race. Qualifying begins on Friday and is available to start all weekend, whilst the Race stage begins on Sunday. Players score points in these stages to rank on a global leaderboard against other players.
Both stages include three attempts to record a time to beat a specific objective. Players can currently try as many times as they want to set these times, but once these three times are locked in, you can then use F1 Credits to retry that stage and improve your time.
Points are scored for players’ performance across both stages. Players receive a set amount of points for completing each stage, then earn bonus points for how well they performed (extra points for every second their time is under the target time, for example).
The League that players are in from Duel mode when starting the GP Event is the League they’ll be ranked within for the GP Event; there are separate leaderboards for every League. Players are free to tweak their car setup between sessions and can jump in and out of the mode, but if you switch Leagues in Duel mode during a GP Event, your League in GP Events won’t change.
The Qualifying stage challenges players to beat a target time on a chosen circuit. Players must beat this target time to reach the Race stage, and the quicker your time, the more points you score.
In the Race stage, players are challenged to reach a certain position in the field. The higher the position you reach, the greater your reward. The player’s starting position on the grid in the first Race session is determined by how well they performed in the Qualifying stage. In the second Race, you’ll start in the position you finished in for Race 1, and it’s the same system for Race 3.
All sessions in a GP Event take place at the same circuit. The first GP Event, for example, challenges you to race on the Silverstone circuit.
GP Events – Rewards System
Resource Points, F1 Credits, R&D Cards and visual customisation items are ALL available to win in GP Events!
The rewards you receive at the end of the GP Event are determined by your overall score and the League you have competed in. The higher the League you’re in and the better your score, the bigger your stash of rewards will be.
Each League will split its leaderboard into three tiers at the end of the event: Bronze for the lowest third of scores, Silver for the middle, and Gold for the best scores. Players who finish in the Gold tier will receive more rewards than those in the Silver tier, and so on.
Players can collect their rewards once the GP Event concludes, allowing all players to record a score on the global leaderboard. Head to the Event tab once the GP Event has concluded to find out how you ranked and what you’ve earned.
GP Events will be available to play over the first weekend following the launch of Update 3, which is set to arrive next week. If you’ve got any more questions at all about the new mode, don’t hesitate to get in touch via the game’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram channels. Plus, before Update 3 goes live, we’ll be playing GP Events in our latest livestream! Keep an eye on those social channels to find out when we’re live.
Now, time to get practising for that Gold-tier loot…
